How do I insert a pre-existing video for my introduction speech?
How many videos can I have at the top of my main page?
Only one video can be displayed at the top of your main page at a time, although, you can have multiple videos uploaded under "Manage My Videos". You can upload additional videos under Academic, Athletic, Fine Arts, Community, and Professional to further display your more specific skills.

What does the yellow star and the visible checkbox mean when creating my profile?
The yellow star in the top right corner of each icon is an indicator of which profile will show up first when your profile is viewed. This should represent your main focus and accommodate your future goals. The visibility check box allows you to choose which pages will show up and be accessible on your page. If you do not have a lot of information or little interest in a certain area uncheck the box so that it is removed from your profile.

How do I add my Applicant Advantage profile to the Common Application?
We suggest inserting your bitly link in the "Additional Information" portion. This is located within the writing section, and reflects qualifactions not listed on the Common Application.
How to verify sports statistics & community service work?
People reading your Applicant Advantage profile may want to go even deeper into your accomplishments. As a best practice we suggest supply as much information to verify your accomplishments as possible.
For sports statistics and accomplishments we suggest including links to the information that have been verified by outside sources. For example, include the links to your Perfect Game, NCSA or club’s profile.
Community service is also much harder to verify than school records. Include letters of reference and contact information whenever possible.
